Dr. Issa Ramaji is the Director of Curriculum for the Real Estate Program and an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering, Computer, and Construction Management. Holding a Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and degrees in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Dr. Ramaji's education has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of engineering and management principles. Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE), his professional experience includes roles in the design, construction, and operation of buildings and infrastructure, where he has demonstrated his expertise in real-world projects across engineering, construction management, and real estate operation.

Beyond his roles in academia and the industry, Dr. Ramaji actively participates in leadership positions within scientific and industry circles. He serves as an editor for the ASCE Journal of Architectural Engineering and is a member of committees such as the U.S. National BIM Standard. Additionally, he founded and chaired the Data and Interoperability Committee at the Digital Twin Consortium. He has pursued professional education in leadership and entrepreneurship at Cornell University and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on the use of advanced information technologies in the AEC/FM industry, with a particular interest in digital twin technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and building energy and sustainability.
